How influence solutions fm GmbH handles personal data when you use Couple Dates.
Last updated 30 October 2026
1. Who is responsible
The controller is influence solutions fm GmbH, Gemeindeaugasse 22/2, 1220 Vienna, Austria. Company register number FN 675374y, Commercial Court of Vienna; VAT ID ATU83178124. You can contact us at customer-support@specky.space.
2. Personal data we use
- Account and sign-in: account identifiers, email address, display name, and authentication records handled by Clerk.
- Your shared space: partner and couple-space details, date preferences, home city, interests, budgets, date proposals and decisions, plans, ratings, notes, memories, photos, and assistant conversations.
- AI requests: messages, inspiration links you submit, relevant saved preferences, and limited date context needed to generate suggestions. AI replies and usage records may be kept in your space.
- Calendar: if you connect Google Calendar, availability blocks from your primary calendar. Couple Dates can also create or remove a date event in that calendar when you ask it to. It does not import event titles or attendee lists from your other events.
- Payments: subscription status, plan, billing period, and provider references. Whop handles checkout and payment-card details; Couple Dates does not receive your full card number.
- Technical and support data: security and service logs, browser and device details, optional product-event measurements if you enable them in Privacy and data, and messages you send to support.
Nearby suggestions use the city and filters you enter. Couple Dates does not use background GPS location for this feature.
3. Your space and sharing
Couple Dates is designed as a private space for two invited partners. Both partners can see content saved to the shared space, including dates, notes, preferences, and photos. Do not add anything you do not want your partner to see.
Removing a planned date does not remove a separately saved memory from that date; delete the memory itself if you want it removed.
A memory or recap is not posted publicly by Couple Dates. If you choose to create a share card, download it, or use your phone’s share sheet, the platform you send it to will receive the content you selected and will process it under its own privacy policy.
4. Why we process data
- To create and run your account and shared space, save dates and memories, and provide the features you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b), contract).
- To process an AI request and return date suggestions, using the message and limited relevant context you have saved (Article 6(1)(b)).
- To connect Google Calendar and share free/busy availability when you choose to connect and enable that option (Article 6(1)(a), consent). You can disconnect Google or turn off availability sharing.
- To process subscriptions, keep required accounting records, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable (Article 6(1)(b), (c), and, for security and service reliability, our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f)).
- To measure feature use with limited product events and improve the service only if you opt in for your account. Event properties are restricted to feature and action categories; they do not include your messages, photos, names, date titles, or locations. You can withdraw this choice in Privacy and data.
We do not use AI suggestions to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects about you.
5. Service providers
We use service providers to operate Couple Dates. They receive only the data needed for their role:
- Replit provides app hosting, database and file-storage infrastructure, and the managed AI gateway. The selected Publishing geography for the current deployment is Europe. Replit says this setting controls the location of published compute, database, and object storage; it does not ensure that every external provider uses that same location. See Replit’s Data Processing Addendum and subprocessor list.
- Clerk, through Replit-managed authentication, handles sign-in and account identity. Clerk publishes a Data Processing Agreement describing its processing and cross-border transfer terms.
- Replit’s managed AI integration provides access to OpenAI models for assistant and nearby-search results. Requests can include what you submit and the limited saved context described above. Replit’s model-improvement policy says prompts, context, and generated responses may be used to improve Replit models or features, subject to account-plan controls; Pro users can opt out and Enterprise content is excluded from training. We cannot confirm that an opt-out is active for this account, and do not promise zero retention or exclusion from model improvement for AI requests.
- Google handles the optional Calendar connection and requests you authorize. The app requests free/busy availability and permission to manage events owned by the connected user; Google’s API Services User Data Policy applies to Google API data.
- Whop provides hosted checkout and subscription payment services. Its Seller Data Sharing Addendum describes Whop and the seller as independent controllers for certain buyer and payment data and includes transfer terms.
- Replit’s separate published-site pageview analytics is enabled for the current deployment in Publishing settings. That service may collect page views, referrers, device/browser details, and network information. It is separate from optional in-app product events and is not controlled by the in-app analytics preference. If this setting changes, this notice should be updated.
Providers may process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area; we do not promise EEA-only processing. Replit, Clerk, and Whop publish documents describing standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, other transfer safeguards. Which terms and safeguards apply depends on the service and the agreement governing it. Replit’s public documentation describes managed AI processing as primarily U.S.-based; the location of AI processing is separate from the app’s selected Publishing geography. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to a specific provider.
6. Google Calendar
Calendar connection is optional. Each partner connects their own account and can choose whether to share free/busy blocks with their partner; sharing is off by default. Couple Dates uses availability blocks to find overlapping free times. It does not read the names, descriptions, or guests of unrelated events. When you choose to add a Couple Dates plan, the app can write that plan to your calendar.
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in the Calendar screen. Disconnecting does not remove events already added to Google Calendar. Google’s own data practices are described in its Privacy Policy and API Services User Data Policy.
7. How long we keep data
You can request a copy of your available account and shared-space data, or permanently delete your account, from Settings → Privacy and data. If your partner remains, shared dates and memories stay available to them; if you are the last member, the shared content and photos are removed. Assistant conversation history is removed because it cannot be separated by author. Previously added events in a connected Google Calendar are not deleted from Google.
Austrian accounting records may need to be retained for seven years. Security logs and provider backups are kept according to applicable legal requirements and the relevant provider’s retention schedule; we do not control external providers’ system-log or backup schedules. Where Replit’s public DPA applies, it provides a return/deletion request window after its service agreement ends; this is not a fixed retention period for an active Couple Dates account. We do not promise zero or a fixed provider-retention period for AI requests. Cancelling Plus does not delete your dates, photos, or memories.
We keep a pseudonymous record of account export and deletion requests so you can see their status and we can verify completion or retry an unfinished sign-in closure. It records the request type, timestamps, outcome, scope, and media-cleanup count; it does not include names, email addresses, dates, messages, or photos, and is only shown to the sign-in that made the request.
8. Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Use Settings → Privacy and data for an export, account deletion, or to withdraw optional product-event measurement. You can also contact customer-support@specky.space. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
You may also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, at dsb.gv.at.
9. Cookies, analytics, and security
Authentication uses essential sign-in storage. The app also stores a sidebar display preference in a first-party cookie for up to seven days, the account analytics choice in the account and browser storage, and temporary invite, inspiration, or checkout-flow data in session storage. It does not use advertising pixels or advertising cookies in its app code. App-generated product events are off by default for your account and are sent only if you opt in, using fixed, non-content properties. Your account choice applies on signed-in devices. Replit’s separate published-site pageview tracker is enabled for the current deployment and is controlled in Publishing settings, not by this app preference; it may operate even when you decline product events.
We use access controls and provider security measures to protect the service. Couple Dates is not end-to-end encrypted: the service and its infrastructure providers need to process saved content to deliver the features you request.
10. Adults only and policy changes
Couple Dates is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly offer accounts to anyone under 18.
We may update this notice when the service or its data practices change. The latest version and its update date will always be available on this page.
